Tree plantation
Economic Sustainability: By transitioning toward horticulture, farmers are moving away from traditional rain-dependent crops to high-value fruit production, ensuring a more stable and robust annual income.
Climate Regulation: In a region frequently impacted by rising temperatures, these 1,000 trees will create a natural "micro-climate," providing much-needed shade and helping to cool the ambient air through transpiration.
Soil Conservation & Water Retention: The root systems of these species are vital for anchoring the soil, preventing erosion during the monsoon, and improving the earth's ability to absorb and retain groundwater—a precious resource in the dry Marathwada landscape.
1000 trees planted
To foster long-term agricultural prosperity in the drought-prone Marathwada region, a strategic plantation initiative has been launched in Kasar Shirshi village, Nilanga Taluka, Latur District. A diverse selection of premium saplings—including Kesar Mango, Sapota (Chiku), and Coconut—was meticulously sourced to transform the local landscape into a productive horticultural hub.
This project was designed with a focus on accelerated economic impact. The specific varieties were selected based on their growth cycles, ensuring that the majority of these saplings will reach maturity and begin yielding fruit within just three years of plantation.
By shifting from traditional seasonal crops to these high-value fruit-bearing trees, the initiative empowers local farmers to:
Establish Sustainable Revenue: Creating a reliable, year-round business model through the sale of high-demand fruits.
Enhance Land Value: Converting arid plots into lush, income-generating orchards.
Future-Proof Livelihoods: Utilizing resilient species that provide a steady harvest, ensuring financial security for the farming community for decades to come.
This thoughtful selection of saplings represents more than just a plantation; it is a foundational investment in the entrepreneurial growth and environmental resilience of Kasar Shirshi.

Building a Sustainable Lifeline
To combat the persistent water scarcity in the district, we have donated and installed:
High-Capacity Water Tanks: Strategically placed to provide a reliable source of hydration for cattle, which are central to the village's livelihood.
Extensive Pipeline Networks: A dedicated system of pipelines now delivers clean, accessible drinking water directly to pedestrians and the general public.
This initiative ensures that no one—human or animal—has to travel long distances in the heat to find water. By integrating this water project with our ongoing strategic plantation initiative, we are creating a flourishing, hydrated ecosystem in Kasar Shirshi. Today, the facility is buzzing with activity, serving as a daily hub for villagers and a sanctuary for the local cattle.

कोल्हापूर जिल्हा परिषदेच्या नव्याने नियुक्त मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (CEO) डॉ. जास्मिन यांचा नीम करोलि बाबा चॅरिटेबल ट्रस्ट तर्फे सत्कार करण्यात आला.

कोल्हापूर येथे भव्य आरोग्य शिबिराचे यशस्वी आयोजन
कोल्हापूर येथील नीम करोली बाबा चॅरिटेबल ट्रस्ट आणि सीपीआर रुग्णालय यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने दिनांक २४ मार्च रोजी शिवाजी विद्यापीठात एक व्यापक आणि समाजोपयोगी आरोग्य शिबिराचे आयोजन करण्यात आले.
उद्घाटन
या शिबिराचे उद्घाटन कोल्हापूरचे जिल्हाधिकारी अमोल येडगे यांच्या हस्ते करण्यात आले. त्यांनी ट्रस्टच्या सामाजिक बांधिलकीची प्रशंसा करत अशा उपक्रमांची गरज अधोरेखित केली.
आरोग्य सेवा
या शिबिरामध्ये एकूण २५२ नागरिकांची मोफत आरोग्य तपासणी करण्यात आली. यामध्ये:
- १६१ नागरिकांच्या रक्ताच्या तपासण्या (लिपिड प्रोफाइल व थायरॉईड)
- ३५ नागरिकांची ईसीजी तपासणी
- सर्व तपासण्या अत्याधुनिक सुविधांसह पूर्णपणे मोफत करण्यात आल्या.
विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी विशेष उपक्रम
गरजू विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी विशेष उपक्रम राबविण्यात आला असून, १०० हून अधिक मोफत चष्म्यांचे वाटप करण्यात आले. या चष्म्यांमध्ये डोळ्यांच्या संरक्षणासाठी ब्लू फिल्टर लेन्सचा समावेश होता, ज्यामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांच्या दृष्टीसाठी विशेष काळजी घेण्यात आली.
रक्तदान उपक्रम
सामाजिक जबाबदारीची जाणीव ठेवत ४५ हून अधिक स्वयंसेवकांनी रक्तदान करून या उपक्रमात सक्रिय सहभाग नोंदवला.
मान्यवरांची उपस्थिती
या कार्यक्रमास प्रभारी कुलगुरू डॉ. सुरेश गोसावी तसेच मेनन बेअरिंग्जचे व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक अरुण आराध्य यांची प्रमुख उपस्थिती लाभली.
अतिरिक्त सुविधा
शिबिरामध्ये तपासणीसोबतच सर्व रुग्णांना मोफत औषधांचे वितरण करण्यात आले.
